YOUR MEDIATOR
Dean Pittelko has been working with couples
in conflict since 1988. He is a trained
mediator holding certificates in Divorce
Mediation through DePaul University and also
through Northwestern University. He has
earned his doctorate in counseling from
Concordia University. He has completed
specialized training as a Parenting
Coordinator to help high conflict parents
resolve disputes and in Advanced Child
Custody to deal with complex family
situations. Both special trainings were
through the Loyola University Chicago School
of Law's Child and Family Law Center.
Training at the University of Wisconsin
[Madison] in using mediation techniques for
conflicted situations and training in crisis
intervention from the Meriter Health System
of Wisconsin round out his background.
Dean is currently an active member of the
Association of Family and Conciliation
Courts, the Academy of Financial Divorce
Practitioners, the American Counseling
Association and the Schaumburg Business
Association.
